About the Role
This is a full-time travel Physical Therapist position based in Tucson, AZ, serving the greater Catalina and Pima County area. The assignment runs for 13 weeks beginning July 27, 2026, on a day shift schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week. As a traveling PT with Aya Healthcare, you'll deliver hands-on patient care while enjoying the flexibility and variety that contract work provides.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to restore mobility, strength, and function
- Track patient progress and adjust care plans to meet recovery goals
- Document treatment accurately and communicate with the broader care team
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and at-home strategies
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license valid for practice in Arizona
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
- Availability for the full 13-week contract on a Monday–Friday day schedule
- Willingness to relocate or travel to the Tucson, AZ assignment location
- Strong clinical judgment and a patient-centered approach to care
