As a Litigation Paralegal with AMS Staffing in New Orleans, LA (70163), you will partner closely with attorneys on cases centered around maritime incidents and vessel operations. This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite, with an annual salary range of $65K–$75K plus a strong benefits package. A bachelor's degree is not required for consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with attorneys on litigation involving maritime casualties and vessel operation disputes.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain case files, pleadings, and supporting legal documentation.
• Assist with discovery, including gathering, reviewing, and summarizing relevant records and evidence.
• Coordinate case timelines, filings, and deadlines to keep matters progressing smoothly.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts as directed by the attorney team.

Qualifications

• Prior paralegal experience supporting litigation, ideally in a law firm setting.
