About the Role
As a Professional Learning Specialist at Carnegie Learning, you will guide K-12 teachers, coaches, and school leaders through learning experiences built around Carnegie Learning solutions. Working in a part-time capacity, you will draw on your own classroom or coaching background to deliver practical, engaging support that helps educators put effective instructional practices to work for their students.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate professional learning sessions for K-12 educators using Carnegie Learning programs and resources.
- Support a range of professional learning initiatives across schools and districts.
- Coach and mentor teachers and instructional leaders as they adopt new strategies and tools.
- Model strong, learner-centered instructional practices that educators can apply directly in their own settings.
- Collaborate with the broader Professional Learning team to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience.
Qualifications
- Current or former experience as a teacher, instructional coach, or educational leader.
- Strong motivation and a genuine passion for supporting educator growth and development.
- Familiarity with K-12 learning environments and the needs of classroom teachers.
- Confident facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to lead adult learners effectively.
- Availability to contribute on a part-time basis.
