This full-time travel position places an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist in a busy clinical setting within the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. The contract runs for 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts and an ASAP start date.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist interventional radiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic image-guided procedures.
- Operate and monitor advanced imaging and fluoroscopy equipment safely and accurately.
- Prepare patients, equipment, and sterile fields ahead of each procedure.
- Track patient status throughout treatment and respond promptly to clinical needs.
- Follow radiation safety standards and maintain detailed, compliant documentation.
- Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and the wider care team.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Background as an allied health professional in a cath lab or IR environment.
- Comfortable adapting quickly to a new facility and team as a traveler.
- Availability to begin as soon as possible and commit to the full 13-week assignment.
