Cengage Group is hiring a full-time Technical Product Owner, SAP RTR/RAR to join our team in Mongmong, Mongmong-Toto-Maite, where you will shape the systems that keep our finance operations running smoothly and accurately.
About the Role
As the Technical Product Owner for SAP RTR (Record-to-Report) and RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting), you will serve as the bridge between our finance stakeholders and technical delivery teams. Based on-site in Mongmong, Mongmong-Toto-Maite, you will own the product backlog, translate business needs into clear requirements, and guide solutions that strengthen Cengage Group's financial reporting and revenue recognition processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for SAP RTR and RAR initiatives.
- Partner with finance, accounting, and revenue teams to capture requirements and turn them into actionable user stories.
- Drive configuration and enhancement decisions for Record-to-Report and Revenue Accounting and Reporting workflows.
- Coordinate with developers, analysts, and testers to deliver reliable, compliant solutions.
- Support testing, validation, and successful rollout of new features and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience as a product owner, business analyst, or functional lead working with SAP RTR and RAR modules.
- Solid understanding of Record-to-Report processes and revenue recognition principles.
- Ability to translate complex financial requirements into clear technical specifications.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across business and technical teams.
- Comfort working on-site in Mongmong, Mongmong-Toto-Maite in a full-time capacity.
