We are representing a confidential manufacturing client in the Geesthacht area who is seeking a working student in civil engineering to support their project teams with planning, coordination, and on-site oversight.
Responsibilities
- Support the construction management team in day-to-day operations and ongoing projects
- Communicate technical details with customers under guidance from senior leadership
- Review technical drawings and plans for accuracy
- Assist with material planning, disposition, and cutting schedules
- Coordinate site activities in close alignment with construction managers
- Attend site appointments and support project execution on location
- Review site logs, acceptance protocols, and compile revision documentation
- Take ownership of smaller independent projects as you develop experience
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in a civil engineering or comparable technical degree program
- Ideally from the 3rd semester onward
- Structured and independent working style
- Technical aptitude and genuine interest in hands-on construction management
- Knowledge of construction contract law, particularly VOB (German construction contracting standards), is desirable
- Proficient in MS Office; CAD software experience is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and sense of responsibility
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
- Located in or near the greater Geesthacht area
