About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization in the insurance sector that is seeking a working student to join their Innovation, New Business & Startups team in Leipzig. This role offers 15-20 hours per week and provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in innovation management, trend analysis, and the InsurTech ecosystem while completing your studies.

Our client supports insurance companies with research and development initiatives, analyzing emerging trends and developing concrete solutions. They are known for their market analyses, strategic consulting, and professional development formats.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and projects related to innovation and new business in the insurance industry
• Research and analyze current trends, technologies, business opportunities, and market developments
• Contribute creatively to the development of new ideas and formats from initial conception through implementation
• Work on the organization's trend radar by researching and evaluating new developments, preparing content, conducting plausibility checks, and creating supporting documentation
• Assist with the conception, preparation, and execution of workshops, events, and other exchange formats
• Prepare presentations and working materials for various stakeholder groups
• Present findings, trends, and insights in an accessible manner for different communication formats
• Actively participate in the New Players Network, gaining insights into the start-up and InsurTech scene
• Research new companies and business models, identify interesting new players, and support networking activities
• Support pitch events and exchange formats within the start-up network

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university with at least two semesters remaining
• Very good German language skills (required for this role)
• Strong interest in innovation, new technologies, trends, and business models
• Excellent research skills with the ability to structure and present information clearly
• Proficiency with standard MS Office applications
• Independent, careful work style with curiosity and creativity
• Willingness to contribute your own ideas and perspectives
• Interest in generative AI with some initial experience using AI tools
• Availability for 15-20 hours per week
