Position Summary
Hebrew SeniorLife, a Boston-based nonprofit senior care organization affiliated with Harvard Medical School, is seeking a Wellness Coordinator for our Brockton campus. In this full-time role, you will design and lead engaging wellness programs that support residents’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive wellness assessments for residents
- Develop individualized wellness plans based on assessment results
- Design and implement a range of wellness programs to address the diverse needs of our residents
- Evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident wellness activities and progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, social workers, and other staff members
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in designing and implementing wellness programs for seniors
- Familiarity with health assessment tools and techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in senior care settings
- Bachelor’s degree in Gerontology, Public Health, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
