About the Role

In this executive leadership position, you'll oversee the strategic direction and execution of our oncology research portfolio. You'll partner with clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams to advance promising candidates through development while fostering an environment of scientific discovery and excellence.

What You'll Do

• Establish and execute the oncology research strategy to deliver innovative therapies
• Lead scientific teams across oncology programs and therapeutic areas
• Ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance in all research activities
• Collaborate across international teams to accelerate drug development
• Evaluate emerging science and competitive developments to inform pipeline decisions
• Build and mentor a high-caliber team of research professionals
• Engage with the scientific community through conferences and publications

What We're Looking For

• PhD, MD, or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant scientific field
• Significant leadership experience in pharmaceutical research and development
• Specialized expertise in oncology research and therapeutic development
• Proven success in advancing drug candidates from discovery through clinical stages
• Strategic thinking combined with operational excellence
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain top research talent
