829 Studios is seeking a Vice President of Programmatic & CTV Ad Operations to lead our programmatic and Connected TV advertising business from this full-time, remote position based in South Boston, Suffolk County. You'll report directly to executive leadership, managing all aspects of our programmatic and CTV/OTT operations while building and scaling a high-performing team.
About the Role
As VP of Programmatic & CTV Ad Operations, you'll partner with senior leadership to build and scale a high-performing operations function. Your mandate encompasses all aspects of our programmatic and CTV/OTT business — from strategic planning through execution and reporting. You will balance growth objectives with operational excellence while directing a talented team and delivering measurable business impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end operations and campaign execution across programmatic platforms and CTV/OTT channels
- Develop and refine programmatic strategy to maximize revenue, yield, and client ROI
- Build, mentor, and manage the operations and account team supporting programmatic and CTV initiatives
- Oversee vendor relationships, platform integrations, and technology optimization
- Define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and operational metrics for the programmatic business
- Collaborate with sales, creative, and data teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery
- Identify process improvements and implement systems that scale operations efficiently
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad operations, or media buying, with demonstrated success in CTV/OTT environments
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence in ad tech or media settings
- Deep understanding of programmatic platforms, bidding strategies, and the CTV/OTT ecosystem
- Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze margins, project revenue, and optimize spend
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with cross-functional leadership
- Strategic mindset paired with hands-on operational expertise
