About the Role

As a Unit Secretary on the Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit at our Arlington facility, you'll serve as the administrative backbone of 3A, managing communication, documentation, and logistics that keep the unit functioning smoothly. This is a part-time position ideal for someone seeking flexible healthcare administrative work while supporting acute cardiac care delivery.

What You'll Do

• Answer phones, greet patients and visitors, and direct inquiries to appropriate nursing staff and departments
• Maintain and organize patient charts, medical records, and unit documentation with accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate patient scheduling, admissions, transfers, and discharges within the Cardiac IMCU
• Monitor and manage unit supplies and equipment inventory, ordering as needed
• Process clerical tasks including data entry, correspondence, and administrative paperwork
• Communicate relevant clinical information and updates to nursing leadership and interdepartmental teams
• Support unit operations and assist nursing staff with non-clinical administrative needs

What We're Looking For
