Mechanic

Rainbow Adventures is hiring a full-time Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Sedona, Yavapai County. In this hands-on role, you'll keep our Jeep tour fleet in peak condition, ensuring every vehicle is safe, reliable, and ready for our guests to explore the stunning Arizona landscape.

Position Summary

As our Mechanic, you'll be the backbone of our fleet operations. You'll perform comprehensive inspections, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, execute repairs, and conduct routine maintenance on our fleet of Jeep tour vehicles. Your work directly impacts guest safety and our operational efficiency—minimizing downtime and maintaining the professional standards our company is known for.

Core Duties

• Inspect vehicles before and after tours to identify and document any mechanical issues
• Diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and hands-on evaluation
• Perform preventive maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and component inspections
• Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records for compliance and fleet tracking
• Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to prioritize repairs and schedule preventive maintenance
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and company quality requirements

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with power tools and diagnostic equipment
• Knowledge of engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and suspension systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
• Physical ability to lift heavy components, work in various positions, and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a tight-knit maintenance team
