About the Role

U.S. Xpress - OTR is seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers for full-time positions in Georgetown, South Carolina. Solo drivers can expect to drive an average of 2,000 miles per week while team drivers will cover around 5,500 miles per week.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver freight across the United States
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage
• Ensure compliance with all federal regulations and company policies
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Handle customer inquiries and maintain positive relationships

Requirements

• CDL-A license required (with air brake endorsement)
• 1 to 5 months of over-the-road (OTR) experience preferred but not mandatory
• Ability to work flexible hours and long shifts
• Prior experience in dry van operations is a plus
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check
