What This Role Involves
As a CDL-A Company Driver with U.S. Xpress - OTR, you will be responsible for driving dry van trucks on over-the-road (OTR) routes. You can expect to drive an average of 54-60 cents per mile (CPM), with solo drivers averaging 2,000 miles per week and team drivers splitting the load for about 5,500 miles per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive dry van trucks on OTR routes
- Earn a competitive pay rate of $1.57k per week
- Average 2,000 miles per week as a solo driver or split with team members for 5,500 miles per week
- Choose home time that works best for you
- Enjoy a sign-on bonus of $2,000 for solo drivers and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for team drivers (split between partners)
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A license with air brake endorsement
- At least 1-5 months of OTR driving experience required
- Aptitude for long-haul trucking and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
