About the Role
This position offers full-time employment as a CDL-A Company Driver with U.S. Xpress - OTR in Iowa Park, Texas. As a Dry Van driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country on your own (OTR) or with a team. The role requires 1-5 months of experience and offers a competitive pay range of $1,200 to $1,730 per week.
Core Duties
- Drive a dry van across the United States on average 2,000 miles per week as an OTR driver or up to 5,500 miles per week with a team.
- Ensure all company and federal regulations are followed during transportation.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation of the truck.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during transport.
Skills & Qualifications
- A valid CDL-A license with a dry van endorsement is required.
- 1-5 months of OTR driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers, dispatchers, and other drivers.

U.S. Xpress - OTR is committed to providing its drivers with top-tier benefits and opportunities for growth. Solo OTR drivers can earn a $7,500 sign-on bonus and a minimum weekly pay of $1,200. The top 20% of our OTR drivers earn up to $1,725 per week on average. Additionally, team drivers receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus with an average of 5,500 miles per week and starting pay rates of $0.72 - $0.80 CPM (cents per mile).
