The Opportunity

Join the team at U.S. Xpress - OTR as a Class A CDL Company Driver with 1-5 months of experience required. This is an exciting opportunity for solo over-the-road (OTR) drivers operating dry van equipment. Solo OTR drivers can expect to average 2,000 miles per week and are guaranteed a weekly minimum pay of $1,200. Top 20% of our OTR drivers earn up to $1,725 weekly. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $7,500 for solo drivers.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Pickup and delivery of dry van cargo across the United States
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and mileage
  • Performing pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations
  • Communicating with dispatch for route instructions and updates

What We're Looking For

We are seeking experienced drivers who:

  • Hold a valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
  • <li(Have 1-5 months of OTR driving experience)
  • Are reliable, safety-conscious, and have excellent communication skills
  • Can work independently and manage their time effectively while on the road
