About the Role
We are seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers for our operations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role offers competitive pay and a variety of opportunities to earn top-tier earnings. Solo Drivers can expect an average of 2,000 miles per week with $4,000 sign-on bonus. Team Drivers receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus and split the mileage between them, averaging 5,500 miles per week.
Responsibilities
- Haul dry van cargo across the United States
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers
- Communicate effectively with dispatch for route updates
What You Bring
- A valid CDL-A license with air brake endorsement
- One to five years of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience
- Demonstrated ability to handle long-haul routes independently or as part of a team
- Prioritization and time management skills for efficient route planning
- A strong commitment to safety and compliance with DOT regulations
About U.S. Xpress - OTR
U.S. Xpress - OTR is committed to providing its drivers with the best tools, support, and compensation in the industry. Our CDL-A truck drivers can earn between $0.72 and $0.80 cents per mile (CPM), with higher pay for top performers. Solo Drivers may earn up to 57-64 CPM based on experience, while Team Drivers earn an average of $10,000 sign-on bonus split over the year. Our teams have an annual average earning potential of $260,000, with top teams earning even more.
