Position Summary
The CDL-A Company Driver position at U.S. Xpress offers full-time employment opportunities in Ripley, Tennessee for experienced drivers with 1-5 months of experience. This role involves operating a dry van truck on an over-the-road (OTR) basis, delivering freight across the United States.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive a dry van truck safely and efficiently on average 2,000 miles per week.
- Ensure all company policies and safety regulations are followed.
- Pick up and deliver freight to various destinations as assigned by the company.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Who We're Looking For
We seek experienced CDL-A drivers who have a minimum of 1-5 months of driving experience. Applicants should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain a clean driving record. A valid CDL-A license is required for this position.
