As a Tree Climber with Monster Tree Service, you'll work in dynamic outdoor conditions, scaling trees to execute pruning, removal, and maintenance operations. This hands-on role combines technical climbing skills with arboricultural knowledge to deliver professional tree care services to residential and commercial clients throughout Eaton County and the surrounding region.
What You'll Do
- Climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and safety equipment to reach work areas
- Prune branches and limbs according to arboricultural standards and client specifications
- Assist with tree removal operations, including cutting, lowering, and debris management
- Inspect trees for health, structural integrity, and hazards
- Operate chainsaws and other specialized tree care equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Maintain equipment and work sites in clean, professional condition
- Communicate effectively with crew members and clients
What We're Looking For
- Physical ability to climb, balance, and work at heights
- Experience in tree climbing, arboriculture, or related outdoor skilled trades (preferred)
- Knowledge of tree species, pruning techniques, and safety practices
- Comfort operating power tools and climbing equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Ability to work as part of a team in variable weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical stamina for demanding outdoor work
