About the Role

As a Traveling Superintendent you will travel to various job sites to oversee daily field operations, ensuring that each project progresses safely, on schedule, and within budget. You will act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and on‑site personnel while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards and project specifications.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise all field activities for commercial construction assignments, including coordinating labor, equipment, and material deliveries.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively identifying potential delays or cost overruns and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate daily coordination meetings with subcontractors and craft crews to clarify scope, resolve issues, and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and change order documentation for project stakeholders.
  • Assist with close‑out procedures, including punch‑list management, final inspections, and turnover documentation.
  • Travel as needed to regional job sites, occasionally working outside the primary area to support project demands.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field leadership role in commercial construction.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling tools, and safety protocols (OSHA‑10/30 preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a detail‑oriented mindset for managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
  • Commitment to upholding quality, safety, and schedule integrity on every job site.
