What You'll Do
- Partner with homeowners during design consultations to uncover their aesthetic preferences, lifestyle needs, and project goals
- Develop design concepts, material palettes, and visual presentations that reflect and elevate client aspirations
- Coordinate design execution across the construction timeline, managing selections and refinements with architects and builders
- Present design options persuasively, respond to feedback, and guide clients through decision-making
- Conduct site reviews during construction to verify that design intent translates accurately into the physical space
- Lead final walkthroughs, ensuring every detail aligns with the client's completed vision
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in residential design, interior design, or design consulting roles
- Strong visual judgment and spatial reasoning with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to listen, clarify needs, and build trust with diverse clients
- Proficiency with design tools and software (CAD, rendering platforms, or equivalent)
- Practical ability to work within budget and timeline constraints without sacrificing quality
- Collaborative spirit that works seamlessly with construction professionals and creative teams
