As a Travel Rad Tech in Southfield, Michigan, you will join the imaging team of a partnering healthcare facility on a contract basis with variable scheduling. Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiologic imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients safely and accurately to capture quality images.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment while following radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support timely patient care.
- Document procedures and maintain accurate patient imaging records.
- Adapt to variable shifts and the workflow of the assigned facility.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT certification and applicable Michigan licensure or eligibility, as required by the facility.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with travel or contract experience a plus.
- Willingness to work variable shifts on-site in Southfield, MI.
- Strong communication skills and the flexibility to integrate quickly into a new team.
