Travel Radiology Tech (Rad Tech) – Interventional Radiology (IR)

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) for a full-time assignment at Loehmanns Plaza in Monroe County. This is a 13-week travel position offering daytime hours and flexible scheduling for a healthcare professional ready to make an immediate clinical impact.

About the Role

As a Travel Radiology Tech in Interventional Radiology, you'll support advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures in a dynamic medical environment. You'll work days from 7am to 5pm across a 40-hour weekly schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts, providing a compressed work week. On-call responsibilities average 1-2 times per week, with additional weekend coverage approximately 1-2 weekends monthly, as determined by departmental needs.

What You'll Do

• Assist with patient positioning, imaging protocols, and safety procedures for interventional radiology cases
• Monitor and maintain radiographic equipment and imaging supplies in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interventional radiologists, physicians, nurses, and clinical staff during complex procedures
• Document, process, and manage imaging studies per institutional requirements
• Respond promptly to on-call activations and emergency imaging requests
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid New York radiologic technologist license
• Minimum 2 years of professional radiologic technology experience
• Demonstrated background or expertise in neurosurgery or neuroscience
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Interventional radiology experience (strongly preferred)
• Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends and on-call rotations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced clinical environments
