About the Role

As a Cath Lab Tech in this travel position, you'll be an essential member of the cardiac catheterization team, providing hands-on support during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. You'll work alongside experienced cardiologists and nursing staff in a fast-paced, precision-focused setting where your technical expertise and attention to detail directly impact patient outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Assist interventional cardiologists and physicians during catheterization procedures, electrophysiology studies, and related cardiac interventions
• Prepare and maintain catheterization lab equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning and calibrated correctly
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic data throughout procedures using specialized cardiac monitoring equipment
• Manage sterile technique and assist with sterile field setup and maintenance
• Document procedure details, patient data, and equipment information with accuracy and attention to protocol
• Coordinate with nursing and medical staff to ensure smooth procedure workflow and patient safety
• Maintain equipment inventory and report maintenance or supply needs promptly

What We're Looking For

• Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification or equivalent cardiac tech certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a cath lab or cardiac interventional environment
• Strong knowledge of catheterization procedures, equipment, and cardiac physiology
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, procedure-driven setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a healthcare team
• Commitment to maintaining strict sterile protocols and patient safety standards
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for assignment placement
