About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is currently hiring a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant for a contract opportunity in Mt. Ayr, Iowa. As part of our therapy discipline, you will support patients through their rehabilitation journeys while enjoying the flexibility and variety that comes with a travel position. The assignment spans 13 weeks at 40 hours per week, scheduled across 8-hour day shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises, mobility training, and therapeutic activities
- Track patient progress and communicate observations to the care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of each treatment session
- Uphold patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout every interaction
Qualifications
- Active certification/licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Willingness to relocate temporarily to Mount Ayr, Iowa for the duration of the assignment
- Availability for full-time, 8-hour day shifts across a 13-week contract
- Additional certifications may be required prior to starting the assignment
