About the Role
As a part-time CDL A Regional Dry Van/Flatbed/Conestoga driver, you will handle a mix of freight across regional lanes, operating well-maintained equipment for everyday hauls as well as more specialized loads. The position is based in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee County, and centers on keeping shipments moving safely and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate dry van, flatbed, and Conestoga trailers across assigned regional routes.
- Complete pick-ups and deliveries reliably and within scheduled windows.
- Secure, tarp, and protect freight properly, including specialized or oversized shipments.
- Maintain a strong safety record through careful, compliant driving practices.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report equipment concerns promptly.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and deliver the dependable service our customers expect.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A (CDL A) commercial driver's license in good standing.
- Experience or willingness to work with dry van, flatbed, and Conestoga equipment.
- Comfort with flatbed load securement, including strapping and tarping.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and professional customer service.
- Availability for a part-time, regional schedule based in the Milwaukee County area.
