About the Role

As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora's Northridge Fashion location in Los Angeles County, you'll serve as a trusted beauty expert who guides clients throughout their personal beauty journey. Working hands-on in the Beauty Studio and across the store floor, you'll deliver licensed services and tailored recommendations that help every client discover products and looks suited to them. This is a regular, part-time, hourly (non-exempt) position based at 9301 Tampa Avenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients warmly and accompany them through a personalized beauty experience at the Beauty Studio and beyond.
• Apply your professional license to perform beauty services in line with state and store standards.
• Offer informed product guidance and demonstrations across skincare, makeup, and other beauty categories.
• Build genuine relationships that turn first-time visitors into loyal, returning clients.
• Stay current on emerging products, techniques, and beauty trends to keep your advice fresh and credible.

Qualifications

• A valid, active cosmetology or esthetician license as required to perform licensed beauty services.
• Hands-on knowledge of beauty products, application techniques, and personalized client consultation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
• Availability to work a part-time schedule, including the flexibility that retail hours can require.
• Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional, inclusive service in a fast-paced store environment.
