About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant, you'll provide direct patient support in an active clinical environment. What You'll Do
- Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering patient rehabilitation and therapeutic treatments
- Support patient transfers, mobility exercises, and therapeutic modalities as directed by supervising clinicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation according to facility standards
- Prepare treatment spaces and manage therapy equipment and supplies
- Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition to the therapy team
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout all clinical procedures
What We're Looking For
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of direct Physical Therapy Assistant experience
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Collaborative mindset and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
- Physical capability to work an active 40-hour-per-week schedule
- Reliable transportation for your travel assignment
- Willingness to complete additional certifications if required by the facility
