About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our allied health team at a premier healthcare facility in the Syracuse area. In this travel role, you'll provide essential diagnostic imaging services as an integral member of our cardiology department. This position is ideal for sonographers looking to expand their clinical experience while earning excellent pay in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Core Duties

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound procedures according to established protocols
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment with precision and technical proficiency
• Optimize imaging quality to ensure accurate diagnostic information for clinicians
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records and imaging data
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and patients throughout the imaging process
• Adhere to HIPAA requirements and institutional policies on patient privacy and confidentiality

Skills & Qualifications

• Current RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification or equivalent
• Valid sonographer license in New York State or eligible for reciprocity
• Minimum of 2 years of professional cardiac sonography experience
• Demonstrated expertise in echocardiography protocols and image acquisition
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teams
