About the Role

This is a hands-on physical therapy position within a skilled nursing facility in Lacey, Thurston County, where you'll work directly with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or acute illness. You'll deliver evidence-based rehabilitation therapies, assess patient progress, and adapt treatment plans to support functional independence. The role offers a full-time schedule of five 8-hour days per week, starting July 5, 2026, with a 13-week contract duration.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver therapeutic exercises and manual therapy to improve patient mobility, strength, and function
• Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions, and document outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including nursing, occupational therapy, and case management
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and home care strategies
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for billing and clinical continuity

What We're Looking For

• Current Washington state license as a Physical Therapist
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Strong clinical skills in skilled nursing facility environments
• Experience with post-acute rehabilitation and functional restoration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams
