About the Role
As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technician, you'll deliver diagnostic imaging services in a dynamic hospital environment. This travel healthcare position allows you to make an immediate impact while gaining valuable experience across healthcare settings.
What You'll Do
- Operate advanced CT imaging equipment following established protocols and safety standards
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout scans
- Maintain accurate patient records and scan documentation
- Communicate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff regarding imaging findings
- Adhere to infection control measures and facility-specific policies
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond appropriately to patient needs
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) CT certification or equivalent state credential
- Valid license to practice as a CT Technician in Ohio
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent CT imaging experience
- Strong clinical knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and imaging protocols
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to night-shift work and healthcare environments
- Reliable transportation and ability to meet assignment deadlines
