National Staffing Solutions is seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in Bartow, FL. This 13-week contract assignment offers $1,225 to $1,415 per week with a start date of July 27, 2026.

About the Role

Join our healthcare staffing team as a certified occupational therapist assistant at a skilled nursing facility in Polk County. In this hands-on position, you'll work a daytime schedule of five 8-hour days per week, supporting occupational therapists in delivering meaningful therapeutic interventions to residents. This is an ideal opportunity for a COTA seeking temporary assignment work in the Bartow area with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessments and therapeutic interventions under occupational therapist supervision
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADL) training and adaptive techniques
• Implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and structured interventions to improve functional skills
• Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment, home safety, and independence strategies
• Maintain detailed treatment documentation and progress notes
• Collaborate closely with the occupational therapy team and interdisciplinary staff

Who We're Looking For

• Current COTA certification (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) and valid state license
• Strong communication skills and compassion for patient care
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional collaboration
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or similar healthcare settings preferred
