This Travel PCU/Med Surg/Oncology RN position with Malone Healthcare - Nursing places you in a Progressive Care Unit in Omaha, Nebraska, on a 13-week contract beginning July 28, 2026. You will work 36 hours weekly across three 12-hour night shifts, delivering attentive bedside care to acutely ill patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to progressive care, medical-surgical, and oncology patients during 12-hour night shifts.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in clinical status.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while following established safety protocols.
- Document care thoroughly and communicate updates clearly to physicians and fellow nurses.
- Support patients and families with compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the assignment.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Nebraska.
- Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Oncology nursing.
- Willingness to commit to a full-time, 13-week travel contract starting July 28, 2026.
- Availability to work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
