LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN for PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Fresno, California.
What This Role Involves
The role involves providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing the patient's condition post-surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety during recovery. This is a critical position that requires a high level of attention to detail and clinical expertise.
Your Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patients' conditions in the PACU, including those with trauma from Level 1 or 2 trauma centers.
- Provide comprehensive care for post-anesthesia recovery, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Assist in the management of pain, respiratory status, and other vital signs.
- Participate in the transfer of patients to other departments as needed.
What You Bring
- A minimum of ICU experience is required for this role.
- PACU experience, particularly in trauma Level 1 or 2 settings, is essential.
- Experience with pediatric patients (PEDS) is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure are necessary.
