Role Overview
GHR Healthcare is currently seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department (ED) position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. This role offers a competitive pay package of $2,520 per week and is available on an ASAP start date with a 13-week duration.
Core Duties
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients of all ages in the ED setting
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Evaluate patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Administer medications as directed by a physician or under their supervision
- Document patient care in medical records accurately and promptly
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care
What We're Looking For
- A registered nurse (RN) with a current license to practice in Pennsylvania or a compact state
- At least one year of recent acute care experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays if required by the facility
