Role Overview
LRS Healthcare - Travel Nursing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Department (ED) position in Brunswick, Maine. This 13-week assignment offers full-time employment with a commitment of 36 hours per week and a shift pattern consisting of 12-hour days.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and provide appropriate care in the Emergency Department setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures related to emergency department operations.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Maine or eligible for licensure through compact agreement.
- Active BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum 1 year of recent ED experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills are essential.
