Position Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN for the PCU - Progressive Care Unit at our location in New Albany, Indiana. The position is full-time and non-remote, with a duration of 13 weeks starting on August 24, 2026.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Monitor patients who require frequent assessment but are not in critical care.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to ensure patient comfort and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Evaluate patient conditions, administer medications as needed, and document all activities accurately.
Skills & Qualifications
- Nursing License in the state of Indiana.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Prior experience in a PCU or similar setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient care.
- Able to work nights, 12-hour shifts, and maintain high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
