Travel Nurse RN – PCU – Progressive Care Unit – $1,927 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is recruiting a registered nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the progressive care unit at Saint Lucie West, St. Lucie County, Florida. This full-time nursing role offers competitive compensation of $1,927 per week with a start date of August 10, 2026.

Role Overview

As an RN in our progressive care unit, you'll deliver skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermediate level acute care, stepping up support during critical transitions and complex medical conditions. Working 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to monitor patient progress, adjust care plans, and ensure optimal recovery outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient vital signs, lab values, and clinical status throughout each shift
• Administer medications, manage wound care, and perform skilled nursing procedures
• Maintain detailed patient records and communicate updates to the healthcare team
• Provide education and support to patients and families during hospital stays
• Respond promptly to patient requests and address changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to achieve care goals

Who We're Looking For

• Current RN license in good standing with Florida nursing board or appropriate travel nursing compact privileges
• Minimum 1–2 years of medical-surgical or progressive care nursing experience
• Proficiency with electronic health records and hospital technology systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a travel assignment environment
• CPR certification and required immunizations per facility standards
