About the Role
This is a full-time travel nursing position based at the Family Birth Place unit located at 5475 S 500 E, Ogden, UT 84405. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you'll deliver hands-on, patient-centered care during labor, birth, and recovery. The contract begins on July 20, 2026, and runs for 13 weeks, with scheduled 36-hour weeks built on 12-hour night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients throughout the birth process
- Monitor maternal and fetal status, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the wider care team to coordinate safe deliveries
- Educate and reassure patients and their families during labor, delivery, and early recovery
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with unit standards
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Utah
- Demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery or a comparable obstetric setting
- Availability to work 12-hour night shifts across a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Willingness to commit to the full 13-week travel contract beginning July 20, 2026
- Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced birth unit
