Position Summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity in the Operating Room (OR) at our location in Hanford, California. This position offers a competitive weekly pay of $2,530 and provides you with the flexibility to explore new healthcare environments while gaining valuable experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by setting up equipment and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Monitor patient's vital signs, provide pre- and post-operative care, and report any changes to the medical team promptly.
- Participate in the sterilization process of instruments and maintain a sterile environment within the operating room.
- Adhere to strict protocols and guidelines for patient safety and infection control practices.
What We're Looking For
- A current and valid RN license in California or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Operating Room setting, preferably in a hospital environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Prioritization and multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks during surgical procedures.
