Operating Room Nurse

About the Role

We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to support our surgical team in a dynamic operating room setting. As an OR Nurse at Same Day Surgery Center of Central Jersey, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient surgical procedures while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and sterile technique.

What You'll Do

• Prepare operating rooms and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition during and after surgery
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control protocols throughout surgical procedures
• Assist the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, during all phases of surgery
• Provide immediate post-operative care, including patient recovery monitoring and documentation
• Communicate effectively with all members of the surgical team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely surgical and medical records per regulatory and facility standards

What We're Looking For

• Current RN license in good standing in New Jersey
• Experience in an operating room or acute care surgical setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and quality outcomes
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare setting
