About the Role
This is a full-time travel nursing position based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County. As a Registered Nurse on a combined Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit, you'll deliver bedside care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions while monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient status. The contract runs for 12 weeks with a start date of July 21, 2026, covering 36 hours each week across 12-hour night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients during 12-hour overnight shifts
- Continuously observe and interpret cardiac telemetry to identify and act on rhythm changes
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Assess, document, and update patient conditions throughout each shift
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary care team to support safe patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license valid for practice in Oklahoma
- Clinical background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
- Availability for a 12-week assignment beginning July 21, 2026
- Willingness to work 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts
- Comfortable adapting quickly to a new facility as a travel professional
