Position Summary
Aequor is currently seeking a Travel MRI Tech for an exciting 1-week assignment based in Portsmouth, Virginia. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $800 per week and requires you to work 10 hours per shift on Days.
Core Duties
- Perform MRI imaging procedures according to established protocols and guidelines
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during the examination process
- Operate MRI equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Document and report any issues or concerns related to patient care or equipment operation
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MRI Tech who can start their assignment as soon as possible. This position is full-time and requires the following qualifications:
- Current certification or registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technology
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in an MRI environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures related to MRI operations
- Prior travel tech experience is a plus but not required
