This 13‑week travel assignment places an Interventional Radiology Technician at a leading medical facility in Phoenix, AZ. The position follows a 4‑day, 10‑hour day shift schedule (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) and offers a competitive weekly rate of $3,542.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and maintain interventional radiology suites, ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional.
- Assist physicians during vascular and non‑vascular procedures, including angiography, embolization, and biopsy.
- Monitor patient vitals, administer contrast media, and respond to any changes in condition.
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with nurses, technologists, and radiologists to optimize workflow and patient safety.
- Adhere to the scheduled 4‑day, 10‑hour shift pattern and be ready to flex as needed for coverage.
What We're Looking For
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography and current state licensure (or eligibility) for Arizona.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Proficiency with fluoroscopic equipment, contrast injection systems, and sterile technique.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Reliability to commit to the full 13‑week contract beginning July 27, 2026.
