About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI data services organization seeking experienced Farsi linguists based in India. This is a short-term freelance contract focused on translation quality assessment for machine learning applications.

You'll evaluate machine-generated translations from English to Farsi through A/B preference testing. Working remotely and independently, you'll review source documents alongside two translation variants, select the stronger version, and provide written justification for your assessment. Each sample undergoes blind review by three independent validators to ensure quality and objectivity.

Responsibilities

• Review English source documents alongside two machine-generated Farsi translations
• Evaluate translation variants based on accuracy, fluency, and overall quality
• Select the preferred translation and provide clear written justification for your choice
• Review audio files with corresponding transcriptions, assessing accuracy and completeness
• Assess both transcription quality and audio quality according to project guidelines
• Complete assigned samples independently within established timelines
• Adhere strictly to project and client guidelines throughout the engagement

What We're Looking For

• Native-level fluency in Farsi (written and spoken)
• Strong written communication skills in Farsi
• Proficiency in English
• Background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment preferred
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and consistency
• Familiarity with Romanized script conventions is a plus for transliteration tasks
• Must be based in India
