Technicien(ne) HSE en alternance

Continental is seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Technician in alternance for our facility in Sarreguemines, Grand Est. This full-time apprenticeship role offers hands-on experience supporting workplace safety, environmental compliance, and occupational health across one of Europe's leading automotive suppliers.

About the Role

As an HSE Technician in alternance, you'll play a vital part in maintaining Continental's safety culture and environmental standards at our Sarreguemines operations. Working alongside experienced HSE professionals, you'll develop practical expertise in hazard identification, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance whilst contributing directly to our commitment to protecting employees and the environment. This apprenticeship combines classroom learning with real-world application, equipping you with the skills needed for a career in occupational health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and compliance gaps
• Assist in investigating incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Support the development and delivery of health and safety training and awareness programmes
• Monitor and maintain HSE documentation, records, and regulatory files
• Collaborate with teams across the facility to promote safety best practices and environmental protocols
• Assist with risk assessments and the implementation of control measures

Skills & Qualifications

• Current enrolment in an HSE, occupational health, safety management, or related programme
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety principles
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and French
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
• Basic computer proficiency for documentation and reporting
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a manufacturing environment
