Teamleiter Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Logistics Team Leader for their fulfillment operations in Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia. In this leadership role, you will be at the heart of daily operations, coaching and motivating a team of warehouse associates to achieve excellence.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of 20+ warehouse associates daily. You will be their primary point of contact, maintaining an open-door policy and fostering their professional development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other team leaders and shift management to proactively manage fulfillment center processes and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure all orders leave the facility on time, safely, and with the highest quality standards. You will remain calm under pressure and provide stability during peak periods.
• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and work with leadership to continuously optimize logistics processes. You will encourage your team to think critically and actively participate in improvements.
• Hands-On Approach: Roll up your sleeves and work alongside your team when needed, demonstrating leadership through example.

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training in logistics, hospitality, gastronomy, or a related field
• Alternatively, minimum 1 year of professional experience in team leadership or a similar supervisory role within logistics operations
• Fluent German language skills and good English proficiency to communicate effectively in an international environment
• Flexibility to work two-shift operations (6:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00, including Saturdays) in a 37.5-hour work week
• Passion for working with people and a willingness to work hands-on with your team
• Ability to remain composed under pressure and maintain team morale during challenging situations
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a focus on team development
