Swine Service Manager

Prestage is seeking a Swine Service Manager to join our team at our Iowa Falls, Iowa location. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on swine herd health and production performance across our partner farms and facilities.

About This Position

As a Swine Service Manager at Prestage, you will play a central role in supporting the health, productivity, and operational success of swine production sites throughout your service territory. You'll combine technical expertise in swine management with strong client relationship skills, working collaboratively with farmers, facility managers, and your team to drive consistent results. This position offers meaningful responsibility, autonomy, and the chance to influence modern swine production practices across Iowa and the region.

Core Duties

• Monitor herd health status, disease prevention protocols, and biosecurity practices at assigned farms and production facilities
• Coordinate service schedules and respond to production challenges and health concerns from farm partners
• Manage vaccination programs, treatment protocols, and pharmaceutical inventory to ensure animal welfare and production targets
• Maintain accurate production records, performance metrics, and documentation to track outcomes and identify improvement opportunities
• Build and sustain strong working relationships with farm managers, owners, and facility staff through regular communication and reliable service delivery
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Prestage protocols across all service activities

Requirements

• Experience working in swine production, farm management, or animal agriculture (1–3+ years preferred)
• Solid understanding of swine herd health, biosecurity, and production management principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and manage client relationships
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; willingness to travel throughout the service territory
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Professional approach to problem-solving and a commitment to high standards of animal welfare and production excellence
