Dispatcher

Printec is seeking a Dispatcher to manage our logistics and delivery operations from our Bucharest location. In this role, you'll coordinate shipments, organize routes, and ensure customers receive their print orders on time and in perfect condition.

What This Role Involves

As Dispatcher at Printec, you'll be the operational hub connecting our production team with customers across Bucharest and surrounding areas. You'll manage the flow of orders from our facility to delivery, handle scheduling for multiple routes, and communicate directly with drivers and clients to resolve logistics challenges. This is a hands-on position requiring attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and the capacity to keep multiple operations running smoothly throughout your shift.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Coordinate order dispatch and logistics, ensuring accurate routing and timely delivery of printed materials
• Schedule delivery routes and assign drivers to jobs based on geographic coverage and capacity
• Communicate with drivers via radio or mobile devices to provide directions, confirm deliveries, and respond to on-road issues
• Track shipments and monitor delivery status, providing customers with accurate arrival estimates
• Update and maintain dispatch software, tracking systems, and delivery records with precision
• Handle customer inquiries regarding order status, delivery times, and special requests
• Resolve delivery conflicts, address missed appointments, and coordinate rescheduling when necessary
• Maintain communication with the production team to align dispatch schedules with order completion

Requirements

• Previous experience in dispatcher, logistics coordination, or similar role
• Proficiency with dispatch software and tracking systems; comfort learning new platforms quickly
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Strong verbal and written communication in Romanian and English
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Familiarity with Bucharest geography and local road networks preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to customer satisfaction
