About the Role

As a Strategic Advisor for State & Local Government Workforce Transformation at UKG, you'll serve as a trusted partner to government entities nationwide. Your expertise will guide organizations through critical workforce modernization efforts, helping them build more effective, compliant, and resilient talent strategies that drive mission success and employee outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute strategic workforce transformation roadmaps tailored to state and local government priorities
• Assess current workforce operations and identify opportunities for modernization, efficiency, and compliance
• Guide organizations through change management and adoption of modern workforce systems and practices
• Partner with government leadership to align workforce strategies with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements
• Leverage industry best practices and UKG's platform capabilities to solve complex public sector workforce challenges
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with executive teams and department leads
• Support agencies in optimizing employee engagement, career development, and retention initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading or advising on workforce transformation initiatives
• Deep knowledge of state and local government operations, compliance, and public sector workforce dynamics
• Strong track record developing and communicating strategic recommendations to senior leadership
• Background in workforce management, human resources strategy, or organizational development
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across stakeholder groups
• Understanding of government budgeting, procurement processes, and public sector culture
• Ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver measurable results in a dynamic environment
